  • Dennis has to be the ONLY GUY who thought those idiot shoulder belt designs was cool. Could not drive with the windows down, did not just "whoosh" and click in the buckle, and am I the only one who noticed he did not use them either! Guess they could be considered rare today since most got the box knife cure as soon as the ceiling straps would fail and they hang in the way all the time. Just saying........... Thanks for videos Dennis, always get a laugh how these cars are drooled over by you young guys that did not have to drive them to work every day when they were new.

  • This really blows my mind I knew I had a rare car back then but not that rare I had a 1972 cougar XR7 with the Q code 351 yellow with half black vinyl top black interior did not have power windows or door locks did have the Magnum 500 Wheels I was young back then car had some slight mods on it headers 410 positraction and a converter had cold AC car was in really good condition. I stopped driving it because I had a new 5.0 mustang l that was a rare car too never seen one I've seen glx's it was a hatchback and five speed with four barrel carburetor someone kept coming around wanting to buy the cougar my wife talk to me into letting it go for nothing. You really don't see that many cougars with the four barrel Q code dual exhaust . From what I've heard the guy that bought it they pulled the motor out of it and covered it up with a tarp probably still sitting around Orlando somewhere last I heard

  • UUUGH. the biggest oustanding issue with this car dennis is that it's still a '73 Cougar!!! The epitomy of everything that went wrong in the automotive universe after 1972! So ugly...no amount of rarity can save it from it's inherent bad genes. Otherwise, i enjoy everything else about your channel...but this - nope.

  • _Hate to tell you, but the money cats are the GT, GTE, Hertz rent a racer, Dan Gurney, Eliminator, and XR-7 with these power plants 390s, 427, 428 CJ, years between 1968, 69, and some 70s'. I know a little something about them since I have restored more than a few, and my brother has restored his fair share too. My brother just got done selling two of the rares ones, plus a few others. I have since sold all mine too! It nice to see they are starting to hit Mainstreet once again! Out of all the ones I have own, were my favorite ones 1969 Aqua blue with white leather seats with matching ragtop 390 convertibles, and my 1968 Black on black with black interior 390. Then super mod 1969 XR7 351M built motor pea-green black pinstripe, it just rocked when it idol at the stoplights, besides take third in the show in Cali, back in the day!_

Good luck with the sale, Dennis .
